I am still in shock two days later. The FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT is something that I thought I would never live to see. When I found out the news I was glued to the television and I began to think of a quote from W.E.B. DuBois " One ever feels this twoness--an American and a Negro, two souls, two thoughts, two unreconciled strivings, two warring ideals in one dark body, whose dogged strength alone keeps it from being torn asunder."
I have always been proud to be Black and even with all the struggles my people have been through I still wouldn't come back any other way.
Obama is a GREAT father and when I see him and Michelle I see TRUE love and it's good to see a model of a stable, loving Black family in the White House.
These babies below feel the same way.
